External B2B Sales Representative - Solar Hardware

About the role

A leading national distributor of solar hardware, energy storage systems and renewable power solutions is looking for an experienced, high-performing B2B Sales Representative. This is a full-time, 3-month fixed-term contract based on-site in the Midrand area, with travel required across the Gauteng region. Top performers get a direct path to permanent placement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and onboard regional solar installers, electrical contractors and commercial trade accounts
• Nurture and retain key accounts to drive consistent orders, repeat business and portfolio growth
• Carry out regular in-person client visits, product updates and technical touchpoints
• Manage the sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
• Act as first point of contact for client queries, working with technical, stock and logistics teams

Required profile

• Proven B2B external sales, business development or technical key account management experience; solar, electrical hardware or renewable energy experience is highly advantageous
• Self-directed, practical and resilient in a fast-paced environment
• Valid South African driver's licence and a reliable personal vehicle
• Based within reasonable commuting distance of the regional office

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office tools

What we offer

• Basic salary of R15,000 to R30,000 per month, negotiable on experience
• R4,000 car allowance and R4,000 fuel allowance per month
