About the role

Join Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice as an Experienced Financial Adviser, helping clients achieve their financial goals through tailored advice and investment management. This full‑time position is based in Johannesburg and offers the chance to build a thriving practice with uncapped commission.

Key responsibilities

• Build lasting client relationships through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Conduct in‑depth financial needs analyses and recommend Old Mutual’s trusted products.
• Become accredited in Old Mutual Personal Financial Advice products to serve your client segment.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes, financial services laws and FAIS regulations.
• Deliver advice using a proven 6‑step planning process.
• Monitor economic, political and regulatory trends to provide up‑to‑date guidance.
• Maintain CPD points and stay current with industry changes.

Required profile

• Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• At least 18 months experience in financial services, sales, client service or advisory roles.
• Regulatory Examination (RE5) completed or in progress, with CPD compliance.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Clear criminal and credit record.
• Strong communication, planning and analytical abilities.
