Executive Support and Communication Specialist

About the role

The Executive Support and Communication Specialist partners directly with the Chief Executive Officer to maximise the CEO’s effectiveness. This role blends proactive executive assistance, gate‑keeping, and high‑impact communication to ensure the CEO’s time, information flow, and public presence are optimised.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the CEO’s calendar, inbox and access, prioritising commitments and safeguarding confidentiality.
• Prepare and curate briefing materials, speeches, and other content to support all CEO engagements.
• Craft and disseminate a consistent leadership narrative across internal and external channels.
• Coordinate events, media interactions and stakeholder communications, ensuring all materials are accurate and fit‑for‑purpose.
• Drive organisational alignment by translating strategy and change initiatives into clear communication.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience supporting senior leaders in executive support, communications or related functions.
• Strong presence, emotional intelligence and the ability to adapt messaging for senior, public and informal audiences.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and trusted with confidential information.
• Curiosity and a proactive mindset for anticipating needs and creating structure.
