Email Ops Manager

About the role

The client seeks a highly technical, detail‑oriented Email Operations Manager to own the execution and optimisation of global email marketing programmes. This mid‑level, hands‑on role focuses on Salesforce Marketing Cloud operations, email development, deliverability, personalisation, QA and data‑driven campaign execution. You will support Growth, Commercial and Product teams to build scalable, personalised communications for a global healthcare professional member base.

Key responsibilities

• Build, launch and optimise email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio and Content Builder.
• Develop responsive email templates with HTML, CSS and modular content blocks.
• Code dynamic content with AMPscript and SQL for advanced personalisation and segmentation.
• Design complex, multi‑step customer journeys and maintain high deliverability standards.
• Monitor sender reputation, inbox placement, bounce handling and suppression logic.
• Conduct rigorous QA on rendering, links, tracking and personalisation logic.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, CAN‑SPAM, CCPA and internal data‑governance policies.
• Document processes and support stakeholders in adopting best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience in a technical execution role.
• Proven track record of building, launching and optimising large‑scale email programmes.
• Strong understanding of email deliverability, inbox placement and sender reputation management.
• Experience working with Customer Data Platforms and audience segmentation.
• Familiarity with the global healthcare technology environment is a plus.
