Executive Human Resources Manager

About the role

Our Organisation is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all human resource functions. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in driving HR initiatives, employee relations, talent management, compliance, and organisational development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
• Manage performance management and employee development programs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team.
• Drive organisational culture, employee engagement, and wellness initiatives.
• Prepare HR reports and provide strategic recommendations to executive management.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in a transport, logistics, or large operational environment.
• Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Payroll experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license (advantageous).
