Estimator – Proposal & Pricing Specialist

About the role

The Estimator supports the Sales team by developing accurate proposal estimates and maintaining pricing references for PRÆSIDIAD's security and defence products. The role ensures that pricing structures are up‑to‑date, enabling the company to achieve target margins on quotes and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFP specifications and drawings to define the scope of work.
• Prepare bottom‑up cost estimates for labour, materials and other expenses.
• Collaborate with internal functions, including Buyers, to gather current supplier pricing.
• Maintain detailed supporting data for all estimate figures.
• Assess proposal risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Validate proposals before sign‑off and submission to customers.
• Review final approved drawings to confirm material and labour requirements.
• Compute cost factors for management reporting and bid evaluation.
• Develop and document estimating processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Required profile
