About the role
We are a fast‑growing furniture manufacturing company seeking an experienced Senior Carpenter to join our Northern Suburbs workshop. This position offers a leadership opportunity for a skilled artisan to drive quality standards and mentor staff.
Key responsibilities
- Read and draft precise cutting lists.
- Manage, supervise, and train workshop staff.
- Cut and assemble melamine and hardwood furniture.
- Maintain strict quality control while handling multiple production tasks.
- Utilise welding and upholstery experience when applicable.
Required profile
- 4–5+ years of proven woodwork and carpentry experience.
- High school diploma or technical/trade qualification.
- Valid South African ID (essential).
- Clear criminal record.
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
