Enterprise Account Executive - MuleSoft (Cape Town)

About the role

Salesforce is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive for its Data Foundation team, covering MuleSoft and Informatica in the Greater Cape Town area. The role drives net-new logo acquisition and strategic cross-sell, positioning the Data Foundation as the central platform for AI, data and CRM transformations. It is a hunter role in a scale-up environment, based in Cape Town and focused on enterprise and commercial customers, a mix of retail and fintech.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a territory plan for the Greater Cape Town region, delivering against high-growth ACV and consumption targets
• Own the full sales cycle, from cold-opening Tier-1 accounts through executive networking to multi-million-euro closures
• Co-sell with Salesforce Core Account Executives, aligning MuleSoft and Informatica to the broader Salesforce Customer 360 vision
• Lead complex, value-based sales cycles and turn technical capabilities into board-level outcomes
• Coordinate Solution Engineers, Professional Services and partners to keep deals moving and customers successful

Required profile

• At least 4 years of enterprise software sales with a track record of opening new accounts and beating multi-million-euro quotas
• Strong grasp of integration and API trends (REST, event-driven, microservices) and how they support AI and digital agendas
• Knowledge of MuleSoft, Informatica or adjacent middleware and data clouds is highly valued
• Experience co-selling or competing within the Salesforce ecosystem is a major plus
• Mandatory: based in Cape Town
