About the role
RH Matjhabeng Private Hospital is looking for an Enrolled Nurse for its Medical Unit, reporting to the Unit Manager. The nurse joins a multidisciplinary team committed to giving every patient comprehensive, quality nursing care. The position is permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain health, safety and infection control standards to keep the patient environment safe
- Minimise unnecessary stock wastage
- Provide quality patient care and ensure continued education of patients
- Keep accurate records
- Ensure all nursing activities comply with hospital policies and procedures, relevant legislation and SANC regulations
Required profile
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse
- Two years' experience as an Enrolled Nurse on a medical ward in private healthcare
Required skills
- Computer proficiency
- Competencies such as collaboration, problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability and ethical behaviour
