About the role
A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse at Life Westville Hospital, reporting to the Unit Manager. The role focuses on delivering quality patient care in line with SANC regulations and hospital policies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct nursing activities to ensure quality patient care and compliance with SANC regulations and hospital policies.
- Maintain health, safety and infection control standards to provide a safe patient environment.
- Utilize resources effectively and maintain equipment accurately.
- Keep precise patient records and support patient education.
- Build effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel.
Required profile
- Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Matric Certificate.
- Ability to work shifts as required by hospital operations.
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry is an advantage.
Required skills
- Computer proficiency.
