Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Temporary Shifts in Northern Cape

About the role

MHR is seeking Enrolled Nurses (EN) to provide temporary, part‑time support on general wards and intensive care units at private facilities in Kimberley and Upington, Northern Cape. The role offers flexible scheduling for nurses who are ready to start immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) scope of practice.
• Provide direct patient care on general wards and/or ICU, including monitoring, medication administration, and documentation.
• Assess clinical procedures, manage risks, and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Valid SANC licence for Enrolled Nurses.
• Immediate availability to start work.
• Previous experience in a general ward and/or ICU setting.
• Strong understanding of nursing scope of practice and patient care standards.

Required skills

• Competence in clinical procedures and risk management.
• Ability to assess and document patient conditions accurately.
