About the role

The Desmond Tutu Health Foundation seeks an Enrolled Nurse to join its research team on a two‑year fixed‑term contract. You will play a key part in coordinating daily nursing activities within a research‑focused environment, ensuring all clinical work aligns with study protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver day‑to‑day nursing functions for ongoing research studies.
• Ensure clinical activities comply with approved protocols, ethical guidelines, and regulatory mandates.
• Collaborate closely with investigators, study coordinators, and other research staff to facilitate smooth study operations.
• Support data integrity by accurately documenting patient interactions and clinical observations.
• Uphold best clinical practices and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the research setting.

Required profile

• Registered Enrolled Nurse qualification.
• Experience working in a clinical or research environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
