About the role
SAHETI School, an independent co‑educational English‑medium high school, is seeking a qualified teacher to deliver both English and Life Orientation classes. The role involves implementing the IEB curriculum while supporting the academic and personal development of learners.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess English and Life Orientation lessons in line with IEB standards.
- Promote academic excellence and learner wellbeing across the classroom.
- Foster holistic development by integrating life skills and values into teaching.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents as required.
- Collaborate with fellow staff to enhance the school’s educational ethos.
Required profile
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education) and registration.
- Proven experience teaching English and Life Orientation at secondary level.
- Strong understanding of the IEB curriculum and assessment methods.
- Commitment to the school’s values of excellence and holistic development.
