About the role
impact.com is seeking a commercially‑minded Employee Relations Partner with deep expertise in South African labour law. You will help ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of employee relations matters across a fast‑growing SaaS company.
Key responsibilities
- Chair disciplinary hearings and appeals as a neutral third party, ensuring alignment with the Labour Relations Act and internal policies.
- Review and assess evidence, including witness testimony and case documentation, to deliver clear, evidence‑based findings.
- Prepare and draft legally sound outcome reports, disciplinary packs, warnings, and notices.
- Support escalated matters to the CCMA and Labour Court, providing documentation and strategic advice.
- Contribute to risk reduction, governance strengthening, and the promotion of a workplace culture grounded in fairness and accountability.
Required profile
- Extensive knowledge of South African labour legislation, particularly the Labour Relations Act.
- Strong adjudication and dispute‑resolution skills with a neutral, objective approach.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies consistently.
- Excellent written communication for drafting legal documents and reports.
