Education Advisor (German / Spanish / French or other EU language)

About the role

Bayswater Education is a global network of educational centres offering language, professional and experiential study-abroad programmes. It is looking for an Education Advisor fluent in German, Spanish, French or another EU language to handle sales enquiries and guide prospective students through the course selection and enrolment process.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to sales enquiries by phone, email, the website and marketing channels, including social media, Google Ads and online directories.
• Advise prospective students on suitable courses, study destinations and the enrolment process, and support them throughout the sales journey.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the company CRM, including enquiry details, follow-up notes, activities, tasks and sales outcomes.
• Follow up promptly, manage a varied pipeline and work towards agreed sales and conversion targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service to students and partners, in a courteous, clear and professional manner.
• Follow internal processes, resolve routine issues efficiently and escalate matters when appropriate.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Direct Sales, Admissions, Marketing and the schools to ensure a smooth student experience.

Required profile

• Fluency in written and spoken English and German, Spanish, French or another EU language.
• Previous sales experience, ideally in education, study-abroad, travel or services.
• Experience with international customers or in a multicultural environment; overseas study or work experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work towards targets, manage competing priorities and perform under pressure.
• Eligibility to work as a contractor (freelancer) in the country of residence.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication, including confidence handling sales conversations by phone.
• Good organisation and time management, able to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups.
• Confident use of CRM systems and digital communication tools; CRM experience is an advantage.
• A degree in business, marketing, sales, languages, tourism or a related field is desirable; additional language skills and customer service experience are also desirable.
