Early Years Class Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Class Teacher to join our Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising attainment standards and delivering high‑quality teaching that meets the diverse learning and social needs of young pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, record, assess and report on pupil progress, ensuring all activities are tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain and promote the school’s positive ethos and core values both inside and outside the classroom.
• Deliver outstanding, confident classroom practice that exemplifies the highest standards of teaching.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and line managers to support professional development.

Required profile

• Confident classroom practitioner with a passion for early years education.
• Commitment to equity, equality, diversity and inclusion, aligning with the Trust’s People Strategy.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and uphold the school’s ethos.

Required skills

• Effective lesson planning and assessment techniques.
• Strong record‑keeping and reporting abilities.
