Driver & Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver & Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics operations. You will be responsible for loading vehicles, delivering stock to customers, and handling inbound inventory from our head office.

Key responsibilities

• Load vehicles and deliver stock to customers following planned routes.
• Receive stock from head office, perform FIFO handling, and conduct stock checks.
• Pick, count, and verify stock batches.
• Maintain accurate daily delivery routes, stock taking, and checklists.
• Perform general housekeeping of the vehicle, warehouse, and stock areas.
• Adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
• Complete any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar driver/warehouse role.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Clean driver’s licence, clean criminal and credit record.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Familiarity with Cape Town and surrounding areas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience using Pastel Evolution accounting software.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
