About the role
The City of Ekurhuleni is seeking a reliable Driver Operator to transport staff and equipment across turf‑grass, stadium and hard‑court facilities. The role involves vehicle upkeep, safety compliance and basic administrative duties while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Transport staff and equipment to designated sites
- Maintain vehicles and perform minor repairs
- Complete and manage vehicle log sheets
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations
- Supervise staff and manage people‑related tasks
- Carry out basic administrative duties
- Provide customer‑service oriented support
Required profile
- Grade 10 qualification
- Computer literacy
- Valid Code C1 driver’s licence with PrDP
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
