Driver / General Worker

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Driver/General Worker to handle furniture collections, deliveries and general warehouse duties. You will operate company vehicles, assist with loading and off‑loading, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver furniture and appliances locally.
• Safely load, secure, and off‑load items at client sites and the warehouse.
• Perform daily vehicle checks (oil, water, tyres, lights, licences, load security).
• Carry out general warehouse tasks such as packing and moving stock.

Required profile

• Valid SA driver’s licence (Code 10, PDP preferred) and prior experience driving trucks or large vehicles.
• Physically fit, able to lift and move furniture.
• Reliable attendance, good timekeeping and sober habits.
• Available to work Mon‑Fri 08:00–17:30 and Sat 08:00‑16:00 (paid overtime).
• Live within 5 km of Montague Gardens and hold a valid work permit if a foreign national.
