Draughtsperson – HVAC / Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Draughtsperson to join our manufacturing team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will create and maintain accurate technical drawings and 3‑D models that support our production and engineering processes, particularly in the HVAC and sheet‑metal domains.

Key responsibilities

• Convert legacy 2‑D drawings into detailed 3‑D models using Solid Edge, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Produce manufacturing‑ready drawings and documentation for sheet‑metal components.
• Interpret customer samples and translate them into engineering drawings.
• Ensure all outputs comply with company quality standards and engineering drawing conventions.
• Support reverse‑engineering activities when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Draughting.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands‑on experience with sheet‑metal design and production processes.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
