Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Digital Marketing Specialist will manage the South African web presence for a global appliance leader and drive digital marketing activities across all business units, ensuring consistent brand messaging and measurable online performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the South African website, publishing SKUs, managing banners and ensuring timely content releases.
• Utilise ticketing systems to track and close web‑related tasks efficiently.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase website traffic and improve SEO in collaboration with product, sales and marketing managers.
• Keep distributor and customer lists current and produce monthly performance reports for headquarters.
• Coordinate retail content management, ensuring accurate product listings on retailer sites and syndicating content through approved tools.
• Create digital strategies for new product introductions, optimise media plans, set KPIs and monitor weekly performance.
• Work with external agencies to produce creative assets, social calendars and campaign materials.
• Apply global digital standards and identify best‑practice online marketing methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital marketing and web content management.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, sales and marketing teams.
• Analytical mindset with ability to generate and interpret performance reports.
• Familiarity with global brand and compliance standards.
