Digital Marketing Manager – Cleanipedia Platform

About the role

Join Unilever’s Home Care Southern Africa team to lead the digital growth of Cleanipedia, the region’s largest cleaning‑entertainment platform. You will shape integrated campaigns, drive influencer collaborations and make South Africa’s favourite cleaning brands shine on social media.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies across social, paid, SEO/SEM, web and experiential channels.
• Lead end‑to‑end campaign planning, from insight and concept through execution, optimisation and post‑campaign analysis.
• Own the social media strategy and content calendar for priority platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Manage influencer and creator partnerships, aligning activities with brand objectives and measurable impact.
• Oversee paid social, social listening, performance optimisation and emerging practices such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Large Language Model (LLM) optimisation.
• Design and execute immersive brand experiences, events and activations that connect with consumers.

Required profile

• Proven strategic digital marketing leadership experience.
• Track record of managing full‑funnel digital campaigns and influencer programmes.
• Strong analytical mindset using consumer, customer and market insights to drive decisions.
• Experience with emerging AI‑driven optimisation techniques (GEO, LLM).
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams and external creators.
