Diabetes Business Consultant

About the role

Air Liquide is looking for a dynamic Diabetes Business Consultant to accelerate growth and market penetration in the diabetes care sector. You will develop and execute strategic business plans, build strong relationships with healthcare providers, and ensure successful delivery of our products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the diabetes ecosystem.
• Conduct market research and analysis to uncover new business opportunities, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate and close business contracts, securing long‑term partnerships.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align strategies and support product launches.
• Monitor sales performance, produce regular reports and forecasts for management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with regulatory changes and clinical advancements in diabetes care.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in doctor and specialist detailing within the KZN Province.
• Working knowledge of diabetes and at least 3 years of experience in medical device detailing.
• Completion of the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) course.
