About the role
Our client, located in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative team. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining automated, scalable solutions that support the company’s software delivery lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure, Jenkins and GitLab.
- Develop and manage containerised applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
- Integrate and automate infrastructure and deployment processes to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable and secure releases.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise pipeline performance.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Proven ability to create and sustain CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in C# programming.
- Relevant IT qualification preferred.
