DevOps Engineer – Build CI/CD Pipelines

About the role

Our client, located in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg, is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative team. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining automated, scalable solutions that support the company’s software delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure, Jenkins and GitLab.
• Develop and manage containerised applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Integrate and automate infrastructure and deployment processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure reliable and secure releases.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise pipeline performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Proven ability to create and sustain CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proficiency in C# programming.
• Relevant IT qualification preferred.
