Debtors and Creditors Clerk – Finance Team

About the role

TSU Support Services is seeking an organised and detail‑focused Debtors and Creditors Clerk to join its finance team. The role offers exposure to both accounts receivable and payable functions, with a strong emphasis on monthly billing, collections, and supplier invoice processing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the client database for armed response services.
• Process and distribute accurate monthly billing statements.
• Follow up overdue accounts, assist with collections and manage debit order collections.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, resolve customer queries, and prepare debtor age analyses.
• Identify long‑overdue accounts and support legal collection handovers when required.
• Assist with supplier invoice capture and provide general creditors administration.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or higher qualification in Accounting.
• 2–5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Experience with Pastel Evolution or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
