Data Scientist (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position offers 10‑40 hours per week, allowing you to apply advanced analytical techniques to drive business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse data sets to ensure data integrity.
• Develop, validate, and implement statistical and predictive models.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Create compelling visualizations and reports for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver end‑to‑end data projects.
• Continuously improve analytical methodologies and automate data workflows.

Required profile

• Strong experience in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques.
• Proven ability to handle and clean large, complex data sets.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data manipulation and modeling.
• Experience building and validating predictive models.
• Advanced skills in data visualization using Tableau, Power BI, or related libraries.
