Data Architect

About the role

The Data Architect will shape and drive Momentum Group’s data strategy by designing, overseeing, and enhancing the enterprise data architecture. This role translates business objectives into scalable data and AI capabilities, ensuring all initiatives align with the Group’s broader data framework.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, evolution, and socialisation of the organisation’s data and AI architecture in line with the Group’s data strategy.
• Provide strategic input on data and AI platforms, processes, and capabilities to support business goals.
• Translate strategic objectives into tactical implementation plans for data and AI projects.
• Design, refine, and govern enterprise data and AI models, flows, and integration patterns to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability.
• Oversee implementation and monitoring of data projects, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and governance practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in data architecture, data modelling, data analytics, machine learning, or enterprise data management.
• Proven success building data frameworks, embedding data governance, and managing metadata and master data principles.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving abilities with the capacity to influence stakeholders.
