Data Analyst – Transform Data into Actionable Insights

About the role

The Data Analyst will turn raw data into actionable insights that support informed decision‑making across Discovery Invest. Working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, you will collect, clean, analyse and visualise data to help optimise processes, improve performance and drive strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Document business and technical requirements and maintain all related artefacts.
• Perform data mappings, profiling and quality assurance to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor data pipelines and solutions, identifying and resolving failures promptly.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and recommend improvements.
• Continuously analyse data to spot efficiency gains and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and end‑users to understand information needs.
• Design and document logical and physical data models using dimension‑modelling techniques.
• Review data models with functional and technical teams.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Experience documenting requirements and maintaining data artefacts.
• Attention to detail for data quality, integrity and monitoring.
• Proactive attitude towards process automation and optimisation.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with analysts, end‑users and technical teams.
