About the role

Remote Recruitment is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to shape and protect the reputation of a UK‑based business while working fully remotely from South Africa. You will lead both internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate communications strategy across internal and external channels.
• Draft press releases, executive communications, and thought‑leadership content.
• Manage media relations and respond to press enquiries.
• Oversee internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged.
• Monitor brand reputation and develop crisis‑communication protocols.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
• Outstanding written English with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
• Proven experience managing media relations and working with senior executives.
• Strong project‑management skills and the ability to handle multiple workstreams.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional home workspace.

• Salary: R29,000 per month.

• Working hours: 09:00‑17:00 UK time (11:00‑19:00 SAST).
