About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join Feedem’s catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals that meet the standards and expectations of both the company and its diverse client base across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and work areas.
• Ensure timely service of meals to meet client schedules.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
• Collaborate with senior chefs and kitchen staff to continuously improve food quality and presentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a cook in a catering or hospitality environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering consistent quality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or evenings as required.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards.
• Basic inventory handling.
