Contracts Manager - Security Operations

About the role

Fidelity Services Group is looking for a Contracts Manager in Klerksdorp, reporting to the National Account Manager. The post manages several supervisors across client liaison, HR and IR matters, fleet management, expense control, investigations and the posting of security officers, ensuring site security requirements are met and clients' needs are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain good relations between the group and the client on security services delivered.
• Manage assigned areas so that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the client.
• Ensure all security officers on site meet the client's contractual requirements.
• Evaluate service levels and recommend improvements to the client.
• Supervise security staff and deal with all administration matters.
• Liaise daily with management and regional management on operational issues.
• Handle HR queries promptly, formulate disciplinary actions and submit employment forms to the Regional Office on time.
• Submit weekly and monthly incident and general reports, investigate incidents and report on them.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent; PSIRA Grade A registration.
• At least 10 years' experience in the security industry and 5 years in an operational security management structure.
• Staff management experience and a valid driver's licence with own reliable transport.
• No criminal record or pending cases.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 quality management and its requirements.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of the Firearm Act and firearm competency.
• Expert computer literacy with the full Microsoft package.
• Planning, administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
