Continuous Improvement Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to lead Lean and process optimisation initiatives across our manufacturing operations in Cape Town. You will drive efficiency, waste reduction and quality improvements through data‑driven methods.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prioritise and lead continuous improvement projects using Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen and visual management.
• Analyse production processes to uncover bottlenecks and develop solutions that boost productivity, quality and throughput.
• Collect and interpret operational data, maintain KPI dashboards and report performance trends to management.
• Conduct structured root‑cause investigations (5 Why, A3, Fishbone) and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver multiple improvement projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and success metrics are met.
• Ensure all initiatives comply with GMP, ISO and internal quality standards and support audit activities.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement.
