Content Operations QA Analyst

About the role

The Content Operations QA Analyst ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of high‑volume ocean freight pricing data that powers a global logistics platform. Based in South Africa, you will act as a critical quality gate between raw rate inputs from carriers, partners, and AI‑driven systems and the final information delivered to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate ocean freight contracts, rate sheets, and surcharge data before publication.
• Cross‑check structured pricing information against source documentation to spot inconsistencies.
• Detect, correct, and escalate data issues within pricing workflows to maintain high data integrity.
• Communicate with external vendors and partners to resolve discrepancies and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain and enrich master data sets related to ocean freight content.
• Identify error patterns and contribute to continuous improvement of QA guidelines, processes, and tooling.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to accelerate QA workflows and improve detection accuracy.
• Support the refinement of internal documentation and operational standards for content quality.

Required profile

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in high‑volume, structured workflows.
• Fluent written and spoken English for daily communication with international partners.
• Ability to work independently, manage cases end‑to‑end, and maintain accountability for outcomes.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate root causes of data inconsistencies.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, process‑driven environments where precision is critical.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong experience with Google Sheets and handling large datasets.
• Use of AI‑assisted tools for data quality assurance.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Zendesk.
