Construction Supervisor – 12 Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead on‑site activities at a metallurgical plant in Rustenburg for a 12‑month contract. The role involves overseeing contractors, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage site contractors and coordinate daily activities.
• Ensure strict safety compliance and enforce site regulations.
• Develop and maintain planning and scheduling documents.
• Lead and motivate the construction team, assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Oversee resource management, including personnel, materials and equipment.
• Control project budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Implement quality control and assurance procedures.
• Resolve technical problems and liaise with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Matriculation with Mathematics and Science.
• Trade qualification – Red Seal or Sect 24D with completed modules.
• Minimum 10 years experience as a Construction Supervisor, preferably in a metallurgical plant environment.
