Computer Application Studies Educator (FET) – High School

About the role

SPARK Schools is seeking a dynamic Computer Application Studies Educator for the FET phase of its high schools. The role involves delivering both face‑to‑face and distance lessons, fostering an inquiry‑based curriculum, and supporting scholars in achieving their matriculation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and co‑teach Computer Application Studies lessons in classroom and online environments.
• Collaborate with grade‑level and subject partners to design rigorous, engaging learning experiences.
• Develop and administer formative and termly assessments, analyse data, and intervene to support student growth.
• Lead social and emotional development sessions through the Character Quotient (CQ) programme.
• Design and monitor programmes for low‑performing scholars and enrichment for high‑performing scholars.
• Participate in place‑based education, career guidance, and tertiary pathway initiatives.
• Implement SPARK culture and behaviour‑management strategies.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, scholars, and families.

Required profile

• Content expertise in Computer Application Studies for the FET phase.
