Commissioned Financial Adviser

About the role

Old Mutual is looking for a self-motivated, dynamic Commissioned Financial Adviser in Rustenburg to champion its customers' lifetime goals. The adviser identifies clients' financial needs, gives sound financial advice and recommends and implements fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions. The role is commission-based and focuses on working mainly on own leads.

Key responsibilities

• Procure new business
• Expand sales of products and services with existing customers
• Identify financial needs and provide sound financial advice
• Recommend and implement fit-for-purpose financial plans and solutions

Required profile

• NQF Level 5 qualification (Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate) or equivalent
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for the role

• Sales and selling: consultative selling, direct selling, strategic selling, building trust, strengthening customer relationships
• Customer focus: understanding prospects, qualifying them, probing questions, customer service
