24hr Flexi Sales & Customer Associate - Rustenburg Mall

About the role

homechoice, a leading South African homeware retailer, is hiring a 24-hour flexi Sales & Customer Associate at its Rustenburg Mall store. The Sales Associate delivers an exceptional in-showroom customer experience by turning customer visits into sales through product demonstration, needs analysis and accurate order processing. The role supports the Store Supervisor and Showroom Manager in achieving sales and service outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers on the showroom floor, demonstrate products and communicate features, benefits, pricing and promotions to meet individual sales targets.
• Guide customers through product selection, ordering, payment and after-sales, resolving basic queries and escalating complex ones.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of products, categories, pricing and promotions, and ensure selling and quoting match approved catalogues.
• Capture orders, documentation, payments, refunds and credits accurately, keeping records and system entries up to date.
• Support stock handling, receiving, stock movement and floor replenishment, and keep the sales floor tidy and well presented.
• Follow cash handling procedures, comply with policies and quality standards, and escalate risks or errors to the Store Supervisor.
• Work with the team on promotions and campaigns, and be flexible for shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in homewares.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Clear credit and criminal record.
