About the role
A seasonal Coastal Monitor X4 position is open in Bluewaterbay (Pearly Beach), Gansbaai, from 19 October 2026 to 2 November 2026. Applicants must be residents of the Overstrand area; holidaymakers will not be considered.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent technical qualification (NQF Level 4)
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Older than 18 years
- Physically strong and healthy
- Good communication and public relations skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape
- Preference given to unemployed residents of the Overstrand municipal area
- Must be able to report to duty at the stations named in the appointment letter and work shifts on weekends and public holidays
Applicants need banking details, an RSA identity document and a tax number.
