CNC Programmer – 360 Fusion (Full-time)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their manufacturing team in Cape Town. The role focuses on programming, optimizing, and supporting CNC machining operations using 360 Fusion to produce high‑quality components while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify and optimise CNC programs for milling, turning and other machining operations using 360 Fusion.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models and technical specifications to generate accurate tool paths.
• Assist with machine setup, select appropriate tooling and cutting parameters, and prove‑out new programs.
• Conduct first‑off inspections, ensure components meet tolerances and support quality investigations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times and support lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date program documentation and revision control.

Required profile

• Trade Test or relevant engineering qualification (advantageous).
• 2‑5 years of CNC programming experience, specifically on 360 Fusion.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.
• Computer literate with a focus on detail, problem‑solving and independent work.
