Clinical Provider (Psychologist/Counsellor) - Remote

About the role

Intellect is looking for Clinical Psychologists and Counsellors to provide mental health support through its telehealth platform. This is a freelance, remote role offering complete flexibility, with business hours set by the provider. It suits people who want to complement their current job or private practice. Local candidates are preferred, but others are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 telehealth and onsite mental health support to Intellect's clients
• Address a range of clinical cases, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addiction
• Partner with the internal clinical team to improve the platform and client programs

Required profile

• Master's degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology
• Minimum of 300 clinical hours completed after obtaining the master's degree
• Proficiency in English, Afrikaans and local language(s)
• Previous experience in EAP services, adult counseling or coaching, and managerial roles preferred
• Availability for occasional onsite sessions when required
