About the role

We are looking for an experienced Critical Care Qualified Clinical Facilitator to join a leading private healthcare organisation in Lenasia, Gauteng. The role focuses on developing nursing staff competencies, ensuring high standards of patient care, and supporting evidence‑based practice.

Key responsibilities

Facilitate and coordinate clinical training and development programmes for nursing staff.
Provide education, mentoring and support within the clinical environment.
Assess and monitor clinical competencies, identify training needs and conduct competency assessments.
Support implementation of evidence‑based nursing practices and promote patient safety.
Collaborate with nursing management and multidisciplinary teams to drive clinical excellence.

Required profile

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in General Nursing (essential).
Post‑Basic Diploma in Critical Care Nursing (essential).
Qualification in Nursing Education and Administration (essential).
Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical facilitating environment.
