Clinic Sister – Primary Health Care (Sea Point)

About the role

Dis-Chem is seeking a qualified Clinic Sister to manage and operate a Primary Health Care Clinic located within a pharmacy in Sea Point. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care while ensuring the clinic runs profitably and complies with nursing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the clinic in line with industry regulations and Dis‑Chem standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow‑up communications.
• Ensure the clinic is open during the stipulated hours and all services are available.
• Process claims promptly and accurately.
• Manage clinic stock, equipment, and supplies to meet operational needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with patients, store managers, medical aids, suppliers and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) and a tertiary qualification in General Nursing or a Diploma in Midwifery.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) and BHF registration.
• 2‑3 years experience as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister (5 years advantageous).
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work retail hours, physically fit, and hold a valid driver’s licence.
