Client Relations Consultant – Brooklyn Mall

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Client Relations Consultant to deliver a positive customer experience at Brooklyn Mall. You will act as the first point of contact, understand client needs, and guide them to the appropriate solutions while upholding the company’s standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced product and service information to customers.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the most suitable approach.
• Handle basic and advanced customer issues, including returns, exchanges, and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Make outbound calls or in‑person visits to prospective customers to develop relationships.
• Enter accurate data into the CRM system after each interaction.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Support renewals by delivering exceptional service that encourages continued use of Old Mutual’s offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies, regulatory codes, and mandatory procedures.

Required profile

• National or Occupational Certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services.
• Ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations and follow procedural standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
