Client Care Representative

About the role

The Client Care Representative will work within Sanlam Life and Savings' Business Shared Services environment, supporting brokers, advisors and customers through a dedicated call centre and administration team. You will ensure timely, high‑quality responses to policy‑related enquiries while adhering to the company’s compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process client e‑mails, faxes and other communications, investigating and resolving policy service enquiries.
• Update client personal details, intermediary codes and register third‑party information.
• Administer mail delivery and direct scan failures, and create new client records.
• Provide tax and contribution certificates, handle POPIA enquiries, and generate quotes or value statements.
• Direct complex enquiries to appropriate departments and request required documentation from clients.
• Manage incomplete correspondence, resend Interactive Voice Response documents, and maintain accurate records of all interactions.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; a business degree or diploma is an advantage.
• Experience in policy services administration within a financial institution is highly recommended.
• Call‑centre experience and fluency in English (Afrikaans advantageous) are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving ability, and high accountability.
• Integrity, respect for others and the ability to work under compliance and quality standards.

• Computer literacy (ability to use standard office software and internal systems).
