About the role
The Ministry of Education and Training is seeking a diligent Clerical Assistant to support its administrative operations. Working under the supervision of the Assistant Executive Officer, you will ensure smooth handling of mail, correspondence, and filing processes across the ministry.
Key responsibilities
- Circulate incoming and outgoing mail in line with established procedures.
- Receive, record, and file official correspondence promptly.
- Dispatch outgoing mail after proper documentation.
- Open and manage personal and general files as required.
- Maintain timely movement and circulation of files throughout the department.
- Update registers for serving, resigned, retired, and deceased officers.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: COSC/GCE or equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading and writing both Sesotho and English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
