About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to maintain a clean and hygienic environment while supporting kitchen operations. The role combines cleaning duties with basic kitchen assistance and stock management.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, neat, and hygienic working environment, following food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Handle basic kitchen administration, record‑keeping, purchasing ingredients and supplies, and monitor stock levels.
Required profile
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) and previous cleaning or kitchen experience is an advantage.
- Good communication, organisational skills, honesty, punctuality and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with willingness to assist in purchasing and stock control.
