About the role
The Claims Assessor will evaluate life‑insurance claims in line with company policies and regulatory standards. You will also support client administration tasks to ensure smooth operations and high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assess claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Verify supporting documentation and determine eligibility and payout amounts.
- Process claims promptly while maintaining thorough records.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to request additional information.
- Provide status updates and guidance throughout the claims process.
- Update client information, process applications, and handle policy‑related inquiries.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal, privacy, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with senior assessors, managers, and other departments.
- Take on ad‑hoc client service and administrative tasks as needed.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in claims assessment or a client‑facing role.
- Strong understanding of insurance and claims processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and proactive attitude.
