Business Management Consultant

About the role

As a Business Management Consultant you will be the primary relationship holder for Independent Financial Advisors, providing product training, answering queries and supporting their business growth within the FirstRand portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product training and address Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) queries on investments, insurance and other FirstRand products.
• Keep IFAs updated on product, policy and offering enhancements.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities and support IFAs in expanding their value proposition.
• Provide administrative support including processing requests and quotations with timely turnaround.
• Facilitate technical interactions between IFAs and product specialists.
• Monitor competitor products, services and industry trends.

Required profile

• Matric (NQF5) or RE5 qualification.
• 3‑5 years of broker consulting experience within the IFA and investments space.
• At least 3 years experience in life assurance.
• Relevant class‑of‑business training and experience with group risk, individual life and investment products.
• Strong attention to detail, client‑centric attitude and willingness to travel locally.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of investment, insurance and FirstRand product suite.
• Understanding of life assurance, group risk and investment products.
