Business Management Consultant

About the role

Join FNB’s Business Management Consulting team to drive growth in partnership with Private Advisors. You will support strategy execution, manage business‑development initiatives and ensure key portfolio objectives are met across assigned regions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify leads, support campaigns and build relationships with Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs).
• Provide product training and address IFA queries on Investments, Insurance and FirstRand products.
• Keep IFAs updated on product, policy and offering enhancements.
• Proactively seek sales opportunities and deliver exceptional service to exceed advisor expectations.
• Assist IFAs in expanding their value proposition and growing their businesses.
• Render administrative support, including processing requests and quotations for timely turnaround.
• Facilitate technical interactions between IFAs and Product Specialists.
• Monitor competitor products, services and industry trends.

Required profile

• NQF Level 5 or a relevant Bachelor’s degree (RE 5 beneficial).
• 3‑5 years broker‑consulting experience within the IFA and investments space.
• At least 3 years experience in Life Assurance.
• Training in relevant classes of business and experience with Group Risk, Individual Life and Investment products.
• Strong sales affinity, client‑centric mindset, high attention to detail and willingness to travel locally.
• Curious, innovative and eager to learn.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Investments and Insurance products.
• Understanding of FirstRand product suite.
